Capturing and documenting the impact of through Millenium Challenge Corp, through a Coffee Table Book
The Need
The USA acting through Millenium Challenge Corp, a corporation of the United States Government, and the Republic of the Philippines signed a Compact for a $433M grant to fund programs aimed at aiding poverty reduction in, and the upliftment of lives of, select underserved Filipino communities for 5 years. As the Compact drew to a close, the MCA, Philippines sought the expertise of a professional team who could rightfully capture, document, and feature the impact the Compact has made within Philippine society.
Intervention
ASSIST Creativelab’s veteran team of writers and photographers was parachuted to the remote project sites of MCA-P where they took due time to immerse with the beneficiaries, understand the subtle nuances of how their lives were changed for good as a result of the Compact’s projects, and tell the true stories of upliftment and transformation.
Our Output/Impact
ASSIST created a hard-bound coffee table book featuring impact stories and facts from the project sites that were gifted to key US and PH government stakeholders. The Coffee table book bagged the prestigious Gold Anvil in the 52nd Annual Anvil Awards.
