Project Manager

Job Background

ASSIST CreativeLab is looking for a Project Manager experienced in handling design-related Projects. The resource hired will be responsible to work and participate with the Graphic Designers, illustrators, layout artists, eLearning developers/programmers, and video developers so they should have a sound understanding of the development process of design and learning assets such as interactive learning, videos, banners, infographics, posters, vectors graphics, and communication material for marketing, eBooks, Digital Magazines, videos and any other asset that requires designer’s intervention. The responsible resource will not only manage the projects but will also participate and brainstorm with the designers to come up with the expected outcome and deliverables.


  • Vendor Management – Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of multiple design projects
  • Timeliness & Budget – Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Scoping – Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Resource Allocation – Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Planning – Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Change Management – Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Reporting – Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Relationship Management – Manage the relationship with the client, relevant stakeholders, and third-party suppliers or vendors.
  • Risk Management – Perform risk management to minimize potential risks in development and delivery
  • Documentation – Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Meetings – Participate in regular alignment meetings with the client to take detailed ordering briefs, feedback, and interim deliverable and clarify specific requirements of each milestone.
  • Delegation – Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
  • Progress Tracking – Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Budget Management – Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Administrative Duties – Perform other related duties with the finance and operations team relevant to the project.
  • Project Assets – Develop spreadsheets to support financial documentation, closure documentation, and administrative documents to support the project deliverables.
  • Payments – Should be on top of payables and receivables for which good coordination needs to be done with the finance/accounting teams.


  • 4+ years’ experience in managing and executing Projects – that primarily require the intervention of eLearning developers, graphic designers, artists, illustrators, video developers, and layout artists.
  • Must understand basic design principles and has a good eye for detail
  • Must be creative and should think as an end user
  • Must be able to show a proven track record to execute medium to large-scale design campaigns
  • Must have good multi-tasking skills and should be able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Must participate in brainstorming sessions with Creative Director and Designers
  • Must be a good communicator – emails, and web calls.
  • Must be able to negotiate with external vendors / 3rd party providers.
  • Good command of the English language and should be a well-articulated and mature speaking capacity.
  • Confidence is the key.
  • Flexible in terms of work-timings.
  • Advanced email communication skills.
