Development of Learning Materials on ADB’s Financial Products

Sector:Education
SDGs: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
Country/Region: Philippines

The Need

With ADB’s intention of providing precursor courses to face-to-face training that was both cost-effective and consistent, the development of training modules was deemed to be a necessity to achieve such. These modules aimed to replace Instructor-led training, providing information on concepts that are essential for working with ADB’s financial products.

Intervention

ADB partnered with ASSIST Asia to help actualize the eLearning modules on ADB’s financial products. ASSIST was tasked to develop interactive, engaging, and self-paced training modules. To complement the training modules, assessment evaluations, reference materials, performance tracking, videos, and online collaboration were developed as well.

Our Output/Impact

The work encompassed in ASSIST’s partnership with ADB included design services such as that of the in-close coordination with client services, and enhancements to the content and features of the learning materials. Offline and online versions of multimedia e-Learning modules on LIBOR based loans, local currency loans, and debt management products were improved as well.
