The Need

The Asia Foundation’s Let’s Read initiative aims to promote curiosity and create a society of educated readers. It leverages the long-term collaborations it established with the various communities in Asia to create a web of networks of book creators, committed to supporting the cause of free online and offline books. The target audience are parents of young children, fathers, aunts, and uncles, educators, and organizations advocating for early grades education who could potentially fund Let’s Read activities.

Intervention

ASSIST was selected to be the communication firm to help The Asia Foundation to cultivate meaningful reading
opportunities with children in the Philippines. ASSIST made a digital marketing campaign concept and plan that will increase interest and usage of the Let’s Read digital children’s storybook platform.

Our Output/Impact

ASSIST developed the digital marketing campaign plan for 3 months duration. The page likes have increased by almost 400% as ASSIST has added over 8,500 new page likes over the period of 11th Jan – 07th Feb 2021 and more than 18,300 app link clicks were registered during the period. A total of 6 ads were published on the page over the past three months. The ads focused on the following CTAs: Page likes, App link clicks, and Engagement
