Mindanao continues to face challenges of conflict, inequality, and limited participation in peace efforts. To close communication and knowledge gaps in such fragile contexts, ASSIST supported development partners under the SPADE initiative, building on the COSERAM project. We focused on creating strategic communication materials, adaptable templates, and visual storytelling outputs to strengthen coordination, amplify voices, and promote inclusive messaging for peace and growth in the region.
ASSIST developed a suite of communication tools to enhance visibility, consistency, and stakeholder engagement. This included branded event collaterals, standardized communication templates for cross-partner use, and comprehensive project reports to guide implementation. Additionally, we created digital resources such as social media playbooks and content strategies tailored to partners’ needs—ensuring relevance in fragile, context-specific settings.
The branded materials and flexible templates enabled partners to deliver clearer, more consistent messages and connect more effectively with their audiences. Digital tools, particularly social media guides, were well received in workshops, where participants reported feeling more confident in planning and managing communications. These efforts not only strengthened branding and visibility but also enhanced outreach across multiple platforms, supporting collaboration and inclusivity in peacebuilding efforts.
