The EU Delegation to the Philippines aimed to strengthen its public presence and highlight its support for sustainable development, good governance, and human rights. Despite impactful programs, broader audiences were often unaware. The Strategic Communications Plan positioned the EU as a trusted partner, fostering understanding and showcasing initiatives that advance inclusive development.
ASSIST provided comprehensive support by designing social media campaigns with targeted messaging, producing graphic and audiovisual materials, managing webinars, hybrid, and on-ground events, and establishing performance monitoring systems. We also developed podcasts and conducted media workshops to deepen understanding of EU policies, while providing strategic guidance and campaign leadership across all thematic areas.
The campaigns significantly enhanced awareness and engagement, achieving 3.8 million impressions, 1.9 million reach, 35% growth in Facebook followers, and an 85% increase in engagement within six months. Audiences reported clearer understanding of EU programs, strengthening trust and positioning the EU as a reliable development partner. Youth Champions, media outlets, and public figures amplified the initiatives, expanding visibility and community advocacy. Overall, ASSIST’s interventions strengthened public perception, increased collaboration, and enhanced the EU Delegation’s communication footprint across the Philippines.
