The Integrated Better Air Quality (IBAQ) Programme, led by Clean Air Asia, was designed to combat air pollution by promoting the Guidance Framework as a roadmap for nations and cities to achieve cleaner air. With a focus on high-pollution urban areas, the program enabled training, knowledge sharing, and regional collaboration to foster healthier and more sustainable cities across Asia.
ASSIST developed and deployed a cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) customized for IBAQ. This included auto-registration, single sign-on features, and a tailored landing page within Clean Air Asia’s domain. The LMS integrated dashboards, certification, and robust reporting functions to track enrollments, learning progress, assessments, and completion. ASSIST also provided system documentation, back-end management support, and continuous technical assistance to ensure seamless implementation.
The LMS empowered Clean Air Asia to scale training on air quality management, engaging a wider network of policymakers, urban planners, and technical experts across the region. Stakeholders found the platform effective in delivering structured, accessible learning, which enhanced their capacity to translate technical frameworks into actionable urban policies. By combining digital learning with data-driven reporting, the project reinforced regional efforts to build healthier, more livable cities.
