Website Development for the Regional Programme for Scaling up the Multisectoral Approach for Nutrition Smart Villages in Bangladesh, Nepal, and India (Phase II)

PROJECT BACKGROUND

The Regional Nutrition Programme of WHH sought to scale its “Nutrition Smart Villages” model across India, Bangladesh, and Nepal by strengthening collaboration and knowledge sharing. To achieve this, WHH envisioned “Nutrition Smart CommUNITY,” a digital knowledge management platform that would connect offices, partners, and local actors in advancing sustainable food security and nutrition.

OUR INTERVENTION

ASSIST developed the platform through a structured process—conducting functionality analysis, creating the site map, and designing landing and secondary pages. The team built and tested alpha and beta versions, integrated front-end coding, and migrated the platform to a staging server. To ensure sustainability, ASSIST also provided CMS training, documentation, and long-term technical support.

OUR IMPACT

The platform became a central hub for knowledge exchange, enabling WHH and its partners to share best practices, track project progress, and strengthen collaboration across borders. By enhancing visibility and fostering multi-sectoral learning, the platform amplified the impact of Nutrition Smart Villages, equipping stakeholders with the tools and information needed to scale food security and nutrition initiatives in South Asia.
