Development of e-Learning Course on Basic ICT and Cybersecurity for the Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA)

PROJECT BACKGROUND

To strengthen court personnel’s ICT and cybersecurity skills, the Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA) commissioned an e-learning course aimed at improving efficiency, digital literacy, and adaptability to technological changes in judicial processes.

OUR INTERVENTION

ASSIST reviewed existing content and developed tailored modules aligned with judiciary needs, producing five SCORM-compliant e-learning modules hosted on PHILJA’s Moodle-based platform. An inception report guided the structured development of course content.

OUR IMPACT

Over 26,000 court personnel completed the course, gaining confidence in using technology, recognizing information security risks, and applying digital skills to their daily judicial work. The initiative strengthened workforce capacity and contributed to more secure and efficient court operations across the Philippines.
