The sustainABILITY initiative is a two-year program designed to equip students and instructors from 20 Technical and Vocational Institutions (TVIs) with industry-relevant green skills, preparing 12,000 students and 750 instructors for sustainable careers. A successful project launch was critical to engage key stakeholders and set the stage for program implementation.
ASSIST managed the end-to-end delivery of the launch, including facilitation of a learning exchange session with representatives from TESDA, HEIs, ADB, industry partners, and the nonprofit sector. We coordinated logistics, managed delegate participation, and designed the program and thematic content to ensure an engaging and impactful event.
Stakeholders reported that the launch effectively fostered collaboration, alignment, and enthusiasm for the sustainABILITY program. The event strengthened relationships among government, educational institutions, and industry partners, creating momentum for implementation. Participants highlighted the clarity and relevance of the content, which reinforced confidence in the program’s ability to develop green skills and drive workforce readiness for sustainable industries.
