ASEAN Cybersecurity Skilling Programme

PROJECT BACKGROUND

The ASEAN Cybersecurity Skilling Programme, led by the ASEAN Foundation, aimed to strengthen digital resilience across member states by equipping educators, jobseekers, and young professionals with critical cybersecurity skills. Through targeted training and accessible resources, the program sought to empower individuals to contribute to safer digital environments within their communities and workplaces.

OUR INTERVENTION

ASSIST developed a comprehensive landing page for program promotion and participant sign-ups, implemented a Learning Management System (LMS) to host five interactive modules, and localized the content into seven languages—Bahasa Indonesia, Filipino, Thai, Vietnamese, Khmer, Japanese, and English.

OUR IMPACT

The program significantly expanded access to cybersecurity education across ASEAN, enabling diverse learners to build practical skills and awareness of digital safety. By making the modules multilingual and accessible online, ASSIST ensured inclusive participation and stronger regional capacity to address cybersecurity threats. Stakeholders recognized the program as an effective model for democratizing digital upskilling, positioning ASEAN communities to thrive in an increasingly digital economy.
