The Need
With the help of the World Health Organization Philippines (WHO) and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), DOH wanted to help families through knowledge sharing about maternal and newborn health.
Intervention
WHO Philippines wanted to develop an IPC toolkit for health workers. It will focus on managing pain during immunization, engaging in difficult conversations with vaccine-hesitant caregivers, and communicating vaccine safety.
Our Output/Impact
ASSIST developed informational and interactive videos for small group discussions, a facilitator’s guide, a health workers’ information booklet and other communication materials. ASSIST also developed Flipcharts and brochures containing information on maternal and newborn health.
